Reflection

            For this paper, I first wrote a brief outline of what I wanted to discuss. I then went along and went into more depth on each topic. I came to class and had a few classmates edit my paper and tell me what I should do to make it better. I took their ideas and fused them into my paper, hoping to make it better.

            I included examples from one of our textbooks. I thought that this textbook was very useful in writing this essay because the author is a community activist in Detroit and I wrote about community activism in Detroit. I think this textbook should continue to be used in following classes because it relates to a lot of topics we discussed in class.

            While writing this essay, I learned that there are people out there willing to change the world little by little. I researched the subject online and found many people willing to help their community or another community around them.
